Win a Financial Peace University Kit!

I am so excited to share this with you. I just couldn’t hold it in any longer. Dave Ramsey, that’s right, THE Dave Ramsey (ok his company) donated a Financial Peace University Kit to little old me so that I can give it away to YOU!

I am honestly bursting with excitement. I’ve pinched myself a couple of times, it’s real. You can enter to win a FREE Financial Peace University Kit from now until October 15th by either clicking here or entering below.

What is Financial Peace University (FPU)?

Financial Peace University is the personal finance course that changed our lives and our family forever. Thanks to this course, we learned to stop being financial idiots and start managing our money instead of just throwing it all away. You can read more about that experience here.

This is a nine-week course that is offered at local churches and organizations. You can find a course near you here. There is also an option online. However, I highly recommend going in person. It is much more motivating, and sobering, to show up each week to a room full of other people just trying to figure out finances.

The course normally costs $93 but according to the website, the average couple pays off $5,300 while they are in the course. That is a pretty valuable giveaway and a pretty amazing transformation!

Who should take FPU?

In short, everyone. Dave Ramsey is known for his strategies to help people get out of debt but the course covers everything. It does not matter if you are a multi-millionaire, you could still learn something from this class. In our class, there were accountants, financial advisors, newlyweds, engaged couples, singles, and us. I would venture to say we were the only ones who walked in the door broke and clueless on the first day. However, everyone walked away with a wealth of knowledge.

What will you learn in FPU?

  1. Saving
  2. Relationships and money
  3. Budgeting
  4. Getting out of debt
  5. Recognizing spending traps
  6. Insurance
  7. Retirement and college planning
  8. Home buying/selling
  9. Giving

Woah, that’s a lot!

You may be thinking, that is too much for me to learn in in just nine weeks. No worries, you don’t have to. Once you have the kit, you have a lifetime membership to the class. So, you can go back and re-learn parts you didn’t quite get the first time.

Plus, the kit comes with CDs of all of the lessons, a workbook, budget worksheets, your own envelope system, the list could go on and on. It is truly an amazing value.

And you have the chance to win it. Right here, right now. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Don’t miss out on the chance to change your life without investing a dime to get started!

  1. We love FPU (so much so that we coordinated a class this summer.)! It is life changing! Not only has it changed our view and habits of handling God’s money, but it has changed the way we teach financial concepts to our daughters. Thank you so much for sharing this opportunity!

    • That is wonderful! Thank you for stopping by and for helping others figure out their finances by coordinating a class. I honestly view our coordinators as angels in disguise. I don’t know what we would have done without their honesty and patience.

I have done the Dave Ramsey debt snowball previously and paid off student debt and a car! Trying to get lots of new ideas and approaches as right now we have gone from 2 incomes to 1 income. I’m so glad I found your blog!

    • Jen, I’m so glad you did too! That is amazing. Great work! Going down to 1 income is a hard adjustment to make. If there is anything specific you are looking for tips or ideas about, let me know and I will add it to the blog. Thanks for stopping by!
